

Born on December 14, 1949, to Melvin and Elinore Berardino in St. Louis, Missouri, Roseanne grew up and spent her childhood in St. Ann. While working at Blakes Animal Hospital, she met Dr. Dan Mueller. They fell in love and were married on October 6th, 1967. From this union, two sons were born. Rose was a loving mother to Dan (Gina) Mueller, and Paul (Susan) Mueller. She was completely devoted to her sons and husband.
She was cherished by her grandson, William (Tara) Gowen, and their four children. Roseanne was especially close with her niece, Leah (Austin) Pryor, and their two daughters.
Rose is survived by her brothers, Mike (Bonnie) Berardino, Tony (Lisa) Berardino, sister Jean Frey, sister-in-law Susan Berardino, and sister-in-law Ann (John) Coughlin, along with a host of nieces and nephews, all touched by her kindness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin, Sr., and Elinore Berardino; brothers, Melvin Berardino, Jr. and John Berardino, and brother-in-law Allan Mueller, Jr.
Roseanne graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1987 and began her career at St. Lukes. With her caring nature and compassion, she excelled as a nurse. She genuinely cared for her patients and always treated them with love and respect. Over the years she worked at St. Lukes, Barnes, Progress West, and Mercy. During her nursing career she formed many close friendships.
Roseanne loved spending time in her kitchen cooking and baking. You could always count on her to remember your birthday and bake your favorite cake for you.
She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church of Troy, where she enjoyed fellowship with the community.
On any Tuesday evening during the summer, you could find her at The Muny with friends and family. She loved all the shows and made a lot of happy memories there.
Ever since she was a young girl, she had a great love of animals. Her poodles especially brought her much joy. She spent many weekends traveling to dog shows. She was always proud when they did well.
Roseanne had a magic about her where she could make you feel extremely comfortable almost immediately. She loved people.
Roseanne’s legacy will resonate in the hearts and minds of all who were touched by her love and kindness.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 12 from 10:30-noon at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa 63109. A Funeral Service will follow at noon. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose's memory to the Humane Society of Missouri would be greatly appreciated by her family.
