Loving mother of Philip (Sari) Beatty and Michael Beatty; great niece of Lucy “Mrs. G. Duncan” Bauman; dear friend of many, both two and four-legged. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Louis P. (Virginia Bauman) Matthei and brother, Peter K. Matthei.
Sara Ann retired after working more than 25 years for the Veterans Administration.
The family will receive friends at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson, on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Elk Park, 1 Lone Elk Park Rd., Ballwin, MO 63088.
