Born October 28, 1922, in Posen, Illinois, she was the second youngest of nine children born to the late Valentine and Wladyslava Paskievicz Barczewski.
Surviving are daughters Geralyn Schroth of Baltimore, MD, Patricia (Doyle) Carson of North, SC, Dr. Paula (Kathy Hetterick) Pijut of Lafayette, IN, and son Dr. Lawrence (Patti) Pijut of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren Adam and Alexandra Pijut of Tallahassee, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her parents, and brothers Dominic, Sylvester, Andrew, and Edmund, and sisters Mary, Wanda, Stella and Margaret.
