Beloved husband for 64 years of the late Ruth Ann Hof (nee Wichmann); beloved father of Kathleen Bresnahan, Jeanne F. (Michael) Hasser; William B. (Judy) Hof, Robert R. (Susan) Hof, David F. (Kathy) Hof, Andrew P. (Penny) Hof, Nancy E. (Michael) Ghidina, and Glennon P. (Maureen) Hof; dear grandfather of 23; great-grandfather of 15; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle, cousin and friend.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy who served in the Pacific during World War II. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He was an active member of the Epiphany Parish for over 80 years. His gentleness, kindness, and generosity will always be remembered. Bill will be greatly missed.

Funeral from Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Thurs., Jan. 6, 2010 at 9:30 AM to Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church for Funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment with full military honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Masses are preferred. Visitation will be held at Hoffmeister Colonial on Wed. from 4-9 PM.
