Alice M. Pitra

As wished, Mom passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on April 3, 2015, just two months shy of her 96th birthday. Preceded in death by Stanley, her husband of nearly 50 years. Survived by loving children, Stan, Jr. (Virginia), Rosemary, Susan and William; cherished granddaughter, Christina (Peter); adored great-grandchildren, Isaiah Reed and Lily Marie; and feline companion, Willy. To Mom, family and home meant everything. In later years, she was happiest sitting in her back yard on a warm summer afternoon enjoying the flower gardens and feeding all the wildlife that passed through. A special thank you to Dr. Brett Teten for years of compassionate health care and to Health East Hospice for helping Mom and family navigate the final leg of her long, memory-filled journey through life with grace and dignity.
