Alvin G. Landsverk Jr., age 56, of St. Paul, Minnesota, lovingly known to his family as 'Alvy Marie,' was one of the strongest people you could ever meet. There was little he couldn't fix, build, or accomplish once he set his mind to it. He spoke honestly, lived authentically, and was someone you could always count on when you needed a helping hand.
Alvin remained spirited and determined until the very end. He passed surrounded by the love of his family and the faithful companionship of his dogs, who never left his side. For nearly three years, he faced cancer with remarkable courage, strength, and resilience, far exceeding what many thought possible.
Alvin was truly one of a kind—a man whose strength, character, and unwavering presence touched the lives of so many. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Landsverk Sr., and his mother Doris Weeks.
Survived by his wife, Kimberly; children, Brian, Ashley (Ryan), Anthony (Cheyenne), Destiny (Ryan), Kayla (Michael), and Krystal; grandchildren, Aubry, Patrick, Raven, Oliver, Owen, and Ezra; siblings, Rose (Greg), John (Bonnie); nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Dylan, and Tyler.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Maplewood, MN at 10 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
