Brice cannot be summed up like any other. He was a funny, reliable and stubborn man with a big heart who made the most of his days, balancing the passions of both responsibility and adventure. He dedicated two decades in service to his country, 37 years of sobriety sponsoring numerous individuals, and the last many years to the joy of golfing in the Veterans Golf Association. Whether delegating for his union, overseeing the quality of work done on military aircraft, or pursuing his various hobbies, Brice brought excellence to all he did. He traveled the nation enjoying salt and freshwater fishing; deer, elk, and bear hunting; boating and kayaking; camping, especially cowboy camping, and bushcraft; spending time on his extended family's farm; golfing the beautiful greens in both the north and south; and so much more. It could seem this full life was brought to an end too soon, but his family knows the Lord has a plan and purpose for everything, so it is their delight to celebrate all he was and did during his 66 years.
Brice is now in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, alongside his recently-passed sister, Melody Hedin; parents, Donna Hogge and Leslie Hedin; maternal grandparents, Laura and Norman Murray, and paternal grandparents, June and Eric Hedin; beloved dog, Angel; and all those who have gone before him.
He will be deeply missed by his cherished daughters, Echo (Ryan) Peterson-Hedin and Amber Hedin; sibling Arin (Tammy) Hedin; grandkids Lilyona, Gemma, Micah, Kathleen, Theodore, Kailee, and Cayden; numerous extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones; as well as his wonderful friends and former colleagues.
