He is survived by Children, Bernadette Henry; Neal Sturre; Nathan Sturre; Daryl Sturre; Karlajoyce Sturre-Koenig; Anthony Sturre and Paula Jensen; Twenty Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Grandchild; Siblings, Gerald, Avis, Enzely, Doris “Venetta”, Marlene & Herman “Curtis”. He is preceded in death by wife, Kathleen; daughter, Anna Schlaepfer; granddaughters, Laura Sturre and Christina Ibarra; parents, Herman and Doris Sturre; siblings, Janice Sturre Hanson and Kenneth Sturre. Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 16 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 105 Knight Ave. N., Thief River Falls. Visitation 1 hour prior at the church and Friday, March 15, 5:00-7:00 PM at Johnson-Green Funeral Home, 420 N. Labree Ave., Thief River Falls, MN. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
