I first met Cam on the backside in 1996, sharing the same barn. Her enthusiasm and commitment were apparent from the beginning. Those early days were fun. Thanks for all the great advice Cam. Its hard to come by.

To Cam's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Cam had a hearty laugh and spunk to go with it. She will be missed in a few arena's around here. God bless you Camelia.

Cam, we will miss your generosity, your genuine warmth, and LAUGHTER.  We never met a nicer "horse person" at Canterbury.
You were always willing to share your immense knowledge and more importantly your love for horses.  We still proudly display your beloved Keewatin Ice horse shoes on our shed doors and will always remember fondly sharing some of your many victories in the winner's circle.

The members and friends of Mounds Park United Methodist Church remember Camelia well as we celebrated her Confirmation and her involvement in the youth program. She is a talented & blessed child of God, a born leader that showed compassion and kindness to all. She will be missed by many.

Cam, thanks so much for sharing your dream with us. You always said that what you liked about horses were that they were honest.  Honestly Cam, we will miss you...you were an important part of the Canterbury family as well as the family of horsemen in Minnesota.
We will remember you and know you will be watching us and our horses too.

Can't believe Cam is gone. Together we watched her horse (Chocolate Licorice) win at Indiana Downs. I always enjoyed her incredible knowledge of horses and her love for them. Rest in peace, Cam. Canterbury friends will miss you!

Cam, You were one of my best friends. I was so lucky to get to hang out with you, we had a lot of fun together. I was looking forward to so many more times together - I am so sad.  I hope that in your new home the horses provide excitement for you and you teach others how to be a great owner just like you were here. Arlington Park, 1994 was where I met Cam for the first time.  Both of us had horses running in MN Stakes as Canterbury was dark.  In the 20 years since, Cam was a trusted friend and confidant. I will always cherish our long conversations, personal and equine.  Cam supported my efforts to obtain a trainer license and was in the paddock when I saddled my first horse.  My life and equine knowledge has grown  because of Cam's friendship.  Thanks Cam, for the special memories and the special horses that will always be a part of my family.

Sorry to hear of Camelia passing.  May she rest in piece.  My prayers go out to all family and friends.

shocking news, so sad to hear. I fondly remember the many hours we spent playing cards. The many places we traveled to, including the lake, and the many horse events we attended. Gosh we were just shocked to hear of Cam's passing! Our deep deep condolences to the family and many many friends! She certainly will be missed by so many people! Her laughter and smile and always a hello when she saw you at the track!
