Preceded in death by husband Lyle, children Todd and Tammi.
Survived by children Cathy, Shelly, Dave(Jane), Troy(Kathy), Edie(Aubrey), Tad(Tammy), numerous grand and great-grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
As a graduate of Harding High School, Carole worked as a telephone operator after completing Business School in St Paul. She raised family in Maplewood and Hastings where she worked at Pinecrest Elementary for many years before retiring "up north" to Nisswa with beloved husband Lyle (married 37 years).
An avid gardener, baker and church volunteer, Carole enjoyed traveling, family genealogy, serving as a DNR Volunteer Loon Watch coordinator, and especially baking her Grandkids' favorite Banana Bread. Her signature 'smiley face' will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Carole's Celebration of Life will be September 18th at Wulff Funeral Chapel, 1485 White Bear Avenue in St Paul.
Visitation at 10 am, followed by a service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Doris Day Animal Foundation.
