He is survived by wife, Rhoda; Daughter, Laura (Bill) Boudreau; Grandchildren, Evan Boudreau, Avery (Michael) Holman, Brynn (John) Thauwald; Great-Granddaughter, Julia Holman; Brother, Bob (Jenny) Morris; Sisters-in-Law, Eloise (Pete) Lind, Karen (Don) Hanson, Cheryl Morris; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gene is preceded in death by his son, David Morris; Brothers, Jim Morris, Dick Morris; Brother-in-Law, Ted Leckband; Sisters-in-Law, Audrey Morris, Betty Leckband.
A funeral service will be held at Our Saviour’s / Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 674 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul, MN on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Gene will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
