Felicia Mary Onoriheba Irabor was a beacon of love, strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a pillar of the Irabor family and a woman whose life touched countless people both in Nigeria and in the United States.
Born in 1953, Felicia was married to her beloved husband, Stephen Irabor, and together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and the Catholic tradition. Their union was blessed with seven beautiful children: Marilyn Irabor, of blessed memory; Patricia, Stephen, Rita, Sylvester, Dominic, and Rufina, as well as daughters-in-law and 11 grandchildren.
Nearly a quarter of a century ago, Felicia migrated to America to reunite with her husband and continued to build a life centered on family, faith, service, and compassion.
Felicia was a devoted mother and wife, a successful businesswoman, a philanthropist, and a woman who believed deeply in giving back to others. She was especially passionate about equality and about supporting vulnerable people, the elderly, and less-privileged children in Nigeria.
For more than a decade, Felicia generously supported several charitable organizations, including:
• Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Home and School
• Heritage Orphanage Home
• Old People’s Home
• Pacelli School for the Blind & Partially Sighted Children
Her generosity was not limited to Nigeria. Here in the Twin Cities, Felicia opened her heart and home to many children, caring for and babysitting them as though they were her own. Some of those children have since graduated from high school and gone on to college, carrying with them the love, guidance, and encouragement she gave so freely.
Felicia was a prayer warrior, mentor, adviser, caregiver, and champion to her family and to many others. She was always willing to encourage, support, and stand beside those who needed her. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did.
Although our hearts are heavy with her passing, we are grateful for the life she lived and the countless lives she touched. Her kindness, generosity, wisdom, prayers, and love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Felicia Mary Onoriheba Irabor will forever be remembered for a life of purpose, a heart of compassion, and a legacy of lasting impact.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, Amen.
