I am so proud of my dad he was so smart and funny and I could ask him how to do almost anything and he would have an answer. I will miss him so much

My heart goes out to the Bachrodt Family. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. He will be missed by many. His character will never be duplicated. Neither will the love he had for his wife and children. Love and hugs to you all. Laura Klaas

I hope to someday be as wise, funny and kind as Grandpa. It was always an incredible joy to have him and Grandma visit for the Balloon Fiesta here in ABQ. Every time I woke up, no matter how early, he would be there to greet me at the dining room table playing solitaire watching the balloons come up. I enjoyed sitting at the table eating breakfast watching him expertly shuffle cards around (although I had no clue what was going on, but he looked to be the best there was). I had immense respect for this man, and felt that I could not learn enough from him. I remember him teaching my brothers and I fishing techniques at the Lake in Minnesota. I can't imagine the patience that must have required, but it was very much appreciated. His love for his family is never ending, as is our love for him. Until we meet again someday, he'll be sorely missed.

RIP my friend and fishing teacher ! We spent a lot of time riding to those lakes Canada both during the summer and ice fishing. Caught some fish but sure shot a bull sitting in the boat or the ice house ( we even built a couple). Work a lot of years together and even car pooled before it was "vogue" !. You will miss by many but especially by Jerri and your kids. It was a very sad and heavy hearted day when God called you home.

Ron Bachrodt had a gruff exterior but underneath lived a thoughtful, understanding, and generous individual who loved his family unconditionally. He was a caring Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and loved fishing for sunnies with the Grandkids at Long Lake. As a son-in-law I always felt comfortable around Ron and respected him immensely. Thank you Ron for helping me in all my construction projects, thank you for being patient and never judging me and for giving me a very special woman to spend my life with, you will be greatly missed.
