Gloria was born in St. Paul to Helen and William Wickboldt. She met John Buetow in the late 1950s through his sister, and they were married for 69 wonderful years. Together, they raised two daughters, Leigh (Doug) Kriewall and Gail (Rick) Johnson.
Gloria and John shared a love of travel and enjoyed taking family vacations throughout the United States. Two of their favorite destinations were Florida and their cabin in northern Minnesota, where they made many cherished memories with their children.
Gloria is survived by her beloved husband, John; her two daughters, Leigh and Gail; her two grandchildren, Tyler Moore and Molly Kriewall; and her sister, June Wickboldt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and William Wickboldt, and her brother, Bill Wickboldt.
A Funeral will be held at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave N, St. Paul, Minnesota 55106, on November 17, 2026, at 10:30 am, with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
