Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Richard Thill Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Brennan of Philadelphia, Dorothea Koogler of Virginia, brother, Robert Friell of Alaska, and granddaughter, Marie Thill of Texas.
Gloria was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to St. Paul, MN in 1947 with her newly married husband. She worked as a secretary at Mutual Life Insurance Co in St. Paul, the Department of Employment Security, and most notably, for 3M for 35 years where she worked herself up from secretary in the Central Research Laboratories to Executive Assistant to the VP and President of 3M.
She is survived by son, Richard Thill Jr. (Debbi) of Texas; daughter, Theresa Streff (William) of Eagan, MN; grandchildren, Rick Thill (Shannon), Matthew Streff (Suzy), Michael Streff (Sandra), Sarah Hugdahl (Joseph), and Blaize McClendon (Garrett); 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM with Visitation one hour prior to mass from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 1757 Conway St. (3rd St and White Bear Ave.) St. Paul. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
