James Ronald O’Malley

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sharon O’Malley of almost 64 years, children, Dawn (Tom) Donnelly, Shannon (Jeff) O’Malley-Miller and Michael (Mike) O’Malley, grandchildren, Staci, Jimmy, Shea, Callaghan, Griffin, Merrina, Murphy, Matilda, Liam, Fiona and Delaney, great grandchildren, Elliotte, Kiersten, Victoria, Crosby and Luna.

He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn K. and John (Jack) O’Malley, sister, Janice (Jan) Mashuga, son, Shaun A. O’Malley and brother, Joseph (Joe) O’Malley.

Jim served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion and retired from Pipefitters Local 455.

Jim and Sharon relocated to Florida and enjoyed the weather and spending time at the beach, fishing and playing golf. He also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Reno and Biloxi as well as his time spent at the casinos. Jim was also a master storyteller and shared lengthy tales about many of his life adventures often around the campfire.

Future stories will be a little shorter and less colorful for those of us left behind.

A visitation to celebrate Jim’s life will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026 4-7pm at Wulff Funeral Home: 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, MN 55106
