Jill Aileen Danner was born March 3, 1964 in St Paul, to Jeannette and Glenn Danner. She was their third and youngest child, joining sister Debbie and brother Terry. She was a bright and funny child who always did well in school. She attended Emanuel Lutheran elementary school and graduated from Humboldt High School. She earned a graphic arts degree and worked in the printing industry for most of her career. Jill also became a certified vet tech, working at veterinary clinics and fostering rescued basset hounds. Her dogs Dahlia and Belle were very dear to her.
She and Joe Wolf married in 2002 and lived in the house they built in Maplewood until Joe’s death in 2017. They enjoyed auto races, fishing and camping. Joe’s daughter Jolene and granddaughter Abigail grew particularly close to Jill over the years and were wonderfully supportive during Jill’s final months.
The family would like to thank Jill’s West St Paul neighbors who helped her during the past months. They walked her little dog Belle, took her to doctor appointments, shopping, and kept an eye on her. Thank you all so much!
Jill is preceded in death by her parents and husband Joe.
She is survived by stepdaughter, Jolene Wolf and her children Abigail, Messiah and Jessiah; sister, Deborah (Frederick) Stuneck and daughter Cindi and her family; brother, Terry (Sonja) Danner and their children; Hanna, her family; and Erich.
A celebration of Jill’s life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Harmon Park, 230 Bernard St W St. Paul, MN.
