Hello its now after the holidays and it was the first one without jodi here I know she is watching from heaven with my Dad so i just want to say I will always love my Jodi and I will never ever forget !!!!!!!

Mark, I can tell that she is always alive in your heart. Good for you.  A chapter of your life that you will cherish forever.

I know that Jodi was not a mom ,we did not have any kids  but we did have lots of bears so all of the bears that are hanging out in our closet want to say happy mothers day to you jodi and thank you for taking care of us over the years . Barebear , grumpy bear and little pooh who are with you now will carry all of the love from you until we can get up there and see you again

From the day i met her to the day she left us she would always have a smile on her face no matter what .even when she was in the hospital on her worst days she would smile and want everyone else to have a good day Jodi I will always have you in my heart and i will think of you every day so you continue to chase grumpy around and i will chase you guys around later love Mark and the bears

It was Friday back in May of 2000. I met a wonderful girl. 2 years later I married that girl , and the next ten years have been the best of my life.Through all the medical we made time to enjoy life to the fullest.
Jodi Lynn Schiminski I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart until that day when we can meet again.

Dear world,
    Our daughter Jodi, was born almost 39 years ago, the day after St. Pat's Day. The family marched in the Parade that day but Joan elected to opt out to save her strength for bowling later that night. Sure enough, Jodi was born the net day, and that year Joan got a trophy for having the baby and not missing a single night of bowling.
    In her short38 plus years Jodi had 25 or30 major surgeries including a hysterectomy, 3 eye surgeries (during which she was declared legally blind and lst her drivers license.), 3 pancreases and 1 kidney transplant, open heart surgery.cancerwith radiatio and chemo therapy, and at one point, she couldn't walk and was in a wheel chair orover a year. She also had lots of monor surgery's, including a half dozen angioplasties, the inertion ofa port cath in her chest, thru he vain to near the heart, and 3 gortex shunts for dialysis. In her last couple of years her body stoped making blood ad she had to go to the hospital to get blood transfusions every 5 or 6 weeks, alongwith dialysis 4 days a week. Her little body just plain wore out.
    This year again Jodi almost missed the St. Pat's Day Parade. The funeral procession to the cemetery, with police escort, was held up for a time on the interstate because of all the traffic trying to get into town for the St. Pat's Day Parade.
    I sometimes think that she was never really ours but rather only on loan from God. Measuring by her pains, she lived 83 years in her 38 plus years with us. God called her Home to be with Him, and those of us that are left will have to learn to live without her. Some day we will meet again. Some day we will understand. Until that some day comes, goodbye Jodi.... SOMEDAY

I was so sad when I heard of Jodi's death. I will always remember her ready smile and laugh. Our families had a lot of good times together and I will always treasure those memories. Jodi was a very special woman. She will be missed. Love and prayers are with you.

One week later a visit to jodis resting place what a pleasant day I sat and listened to her ipad with the tunes she liked for about a hour I left her a big red rose ballon because she alwasy loved red roses It was a great time for me and I will do it again . So all that are thinking of her just know that she is truly happy what agreat lady !!!!

A Facebook friend of mine posted this today. I immediately thought of Jodi. She loved Pooh Bear. I know she will stay in my heart forever!!

Today i have been remembering all the special things we did in the last 10 years like vacations to vegas and even our honey moon in orlando ten years ago its just hard seeing her picture now and not seeing her here but I know she is talking to me through the wind and everything else I will aleays treasure all that we did and even the hospital visits even though she did like them they were part of us  and we did get though then all with that great smile of hers I will contnue to do the things that she would have wanted me to do like play darts and softball and watch movies which she never got in the way of unless she did have the hopital visit even then she did not mind them and i will always do the things that she wantsed to do like another visit to orland to see pooh and all and to spend time with relatives and mine which i will indeed do I love you little one always you will be in my heart LOVE YOU ALWAYS MARKY

I just want to say these last10 years that i have spent with Jodi (actually 12 years) have been very special to me. We have had tough times and also we have great times together I will always remember the great times and from now on I will be doing everything that we wanted to do .So Jodi hang on up in heaven were gonna have fun still

Oh Jodi, I am going to miss you! Your friendly smile, your love of family, your sense of humor and your funny laugh. Thank you for making Mark so happy. The two of you were a cute couple that seemed so happy together. You didn't get to grow old with Mark but those 10 years of marriage left him with plenty of loving memories I'm sure. I am sorry you had to endure so many health issues in your short life. You were such a fighter and you never gave up. God must have needed another angel in heaven though, so you had to leave us. You will always hold a special place in my heart Jodi. Rest in peace!

well the day is over the funeral is done
now jodi can do the things she wanted to do over and over again as many times as she wants . We all will miss her smile and great attitude towards life even though her life was not to great due to all her medical things but she did get through most of them with that great smile and that great attitude.She wil always be by my side i know because I loved her very much and I know she did me . So Jodi you keep up that great smile and attitude now and you tell Grumpy your aunt mary your gramma joyce my brother in law charlie your aunt rita and your niece marrissa that we all miss them here also and also have the time of your life with them with all the games you all can play together now with out you hurting any more Love

Oh Jodster...today and tomorrow we say our goodbyes.  I probably never told you how much I admired your inner strength.  You endured more in a lifetime than anyone should of had to. You have my deepest sympathy.  I worked many years with Jodi at Target in Woodbury.  She always had a smile on her face and was always very upbeat when she'd call me "Miss Jean".

She was a wonderful person to be around at all times.  She always dealt with her problems while smiling.  We had many, many chats in the break room over the years.  You could tell that she was happy to be alive. 

Now she is pain free and smiling in Heaven.

You are not forgotten loved one nor will you ever be as long as life and memory last we will remember thee

Oh, so sorry to see this in the paper this morning.  How often I still looked over at your house by the park as I drove down 70th and wondered how you were doing. I was one of Jodi's high school business teachers.  I remember I was a guest of hers at the OEA Employer-Employee Appreciation Banquet.  I still have the letter opener that was the gift at the banquet.  I remember your graduation party....and I remember the sweet soul that was Jodi!  Rest in peace sweet lady.

When I remember Jodi, I remember her always smiling, always having a compliment for somebody. A person who could have been unhappy all the time because of her health, but always had a joke or smile for you. She will always be with you Mark. An angel with pink wings! We love you both. Rest in peace dear Jodi.

Jodi was a childhood friend and neighbor. I have many fond memories of the childhood games we have played. Sending my condolences to her family and friends.

She had such a positive, upbeat attitude about life and living in school and later at the reunions; she was always a delight to talk to and seemed to live each day to the fullest; she was and will continue inspire all who knew her to always look at the glass as half full. My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Mark,  Be strong.  Sorry for your loss of your wonderful wife.  She made you happy for 10 years and will be greatly missed. I know that you helped her throughout all the medical problems, but I believe she helped you just as much or more. She was a woman in pain for most of the time we knew her.  Her goal in life was to make everyone around her happy and smile and enjoy our lives.  Again, our sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of Jodi's passing. While I have not seen her for many years I have many memories of her while we all were growing up in St Paul Park. She always had a smile on her face, the twinkle in her eyes, and the spring in her step. Nothing ever seemed to get her down. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
