John Anthony Kuczma

John "Jay" Anthony Kuczma passed on March 29, 2023 in his home in Saint Paul, MN. Jay was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 9, 1954. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Adam and Marie Kuczma and his late wife Melissa (Mel) Stephens Kuczma.

Jay is survived by his wife, Samantha Anne Kuczma, his brother Joe Kuczma and sister, Mary Tracy. He is also survived by his daughter Kiri Hemphill, her husband Stephen Hemphill and their children and grandchildren; his daughter Tanya Roberts, her husband Jonathan Roberts and their children; his step-daughter-in law, Kelly Olson and her children; and his step-son-in-law James Ommart, his wife Madison and their children.

Jay proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20+ years, served with the Memphis, TN police force briefly, and worked at a 911 call center until disabilities made it too difficult.

Jay prided himself on his knowledge of herpotology, particularly snakes and offered his knowledge and services to the Navy and other institutions.

Per Jay's instructions, there will be no funeral and his cremation took place at Wulff Funeral Home in Saint Paul, MN. Per his further instructions, his ashes will be scattered with his late wife, Mel.

Jay, you left too early, you are sorely missed, but I know you are happy with Mel.
