Les was the best neighbor a person could hope for.  He will be remembered for his kind heart, soft smile, caring nature and beautiful roses.  We remember his smile at his 90th birthday party.  May Les rest in peace in heaven.  My deepest sympathy to Sally and family.

Celebration of life is the best way to remember Uncle Les. He always had a pleasant greeting and was a joy to visit with over the years. I admired his talent of his carpentry skills, his photography hobbie and anything he set his mind to learn about.He was a true Family Man. You will be missed. Bob & Kathy Greer.

Our dear Uncle Les,
He was the personification of the term "family man;" the patriarch of our family. Through his dedication to  genealogy, we gained our roots. He was understandably proud of his profession, and told me once that his only regret was not having a full length picture of himself in his uniform. We witnessed his strength as he faced the deaths of so many family members he loved and lost, some suddenly and tragically. What a joyous reunion that awaited him when the peace that he so earned, and so practiced, was now his. May Uncle Les rest and rejoice in that peace, now and forever.

We send our deepest sympathy to all of Lester's family.  We enjoyed visiting with Lester over the years at the annual Odeen family picnic in Red Wing.  My mother (Margaret Knutson Reiner) loved her cousins and will be happy to greet Lester as he joins her in heaven.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Uncle Les will always be remembered by me as a very kind and gentle man. He reminded me so much of his father, my Grandpa Miller. I loved seeing him at his 90th birthday party! I have fond memories of him at family picnics growing up. My mother always had the highest respect for her big brother Les.  My deepest sympathy to Sally and to all of his grandchildren. He will be missed!

Les was a wonderful man and extremely creative. We still have 2 firemen's chairs and a table that he refinished over 50 years ago. My dad thought very highly of Les.

Uncle Les is the uncle, great uncle, and brother who gave his time, expertise, and sweat equity to help Dad (Les' brother Russ) build our house at 819 West Montana. Uncle Les has "rock star" status in the Miller-Gierzynski household.
Our sympathies and shared appreciation with all family members who know just what a fine uncle, father, and grandfather he was.
