Michael "Mickey" John Michlitsch

December 18, 1956 – June 3, 2026
Obituary of Michael "Mickey" John Michlitsch
IN THE CARE OF

Wulff Funeral Home

“Mickey” passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2026 in Maplewood, MN. After many years of health challenges, Mickey “fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith.”

Survived by his loving wife Debra; his daughter Kelly and husband Arthur; his son Michael and wife Eryn; his five grandchildren Michael, Myla, Maxwell, Mercy and Nehemiah who will always remember his laughter and cooking lessons. Also his brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Howard and Lucille Michlitsch, sister Patti Jo.

Mickey will be remembered for his heart of service; always ready to plan a gathering and feed a crowd. A sharer of stories and wisdom with all who knew him. He was an entrepreneur by trade, business leader and advocate for people with disabilities. Since he was twelve, he portrayed Santa Klaus bringing “holiday cheer” throughout Minnesota and beyond.

Private visitation for extended family and long time family friends on Wednesday June 10th, 2026 2-5pm @ Wulf Funeral Home.

Please join us on Wednesday June 10th at 6pm for Memorial Celebration @ Josiah Center 1600 Gervais Ave #2, Maplewood, MN 55109.
