

Passed away peacefully at St. John's Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Her dream was to live until age 93, "just like her mother". Pearl Mina Hunter was born October 24, 1920 at home near Pipestone, MN to Edward and Amanda (Zobel) Hunter. She was baptized into Methodist faith in Pipestone, Mn. She worked at various jobs until she married Albert Graphenteen on July 28, 1939 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1971. They lived on various farms and raised their five children before moving to St. Paul, MN in 1963. Pearl worked as a cook at various restaurants until she was hired at Lan-O-Sheen where she was a factory and forklift operator until her retirement. Pearl loved playing dice and card games, but her passion was Bingo. She especially enjoyed the annual Hunter family picnic. She was very proud to say that she had fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Edward and Amanda; brothers, Virgil and Elmer; sisters, Gladys Black, Maxine Fey and Edith Risch; daughter-in-law, Janice; granddaughter, Christine Graphenteen. She is survived by her children, Joanne (Ed) Dahle, Verlon, Harlan (Dianne), Vicki (Blaine) Miller and Tami (Lee) Delgado; her many grandchildren; other family and friends. A funeral service will be held tomorrow, Monday, December 17, 2012 at 12 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul, with gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
