Ramona Zamora

Of Saint Paul

Died April 25, 2013, after illness. Ramona is preceded in death by her Father, Ramon Zamora, and her Brother, Jesse Zamora. She is survived by her Son, Michael Anthony Boorsma Zamora; her Mother, Esperanza Zamora; her Siblings, Rita Rossel (Bob), Irene Peralez (Dr. Ralph), Raymond Zamora (Sandy), Pauline Kilmer (Ronald), Mary Watkins (Albert), Gloria Alvarado (Tino), Joseph Zamora, Lynda Haughen, and Jacquelyn Collis (Gary); and 19 Nieces and Nephews. Ramona was a legal secretary at major Twin Cities law firms. For more than 25 years, including four in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she was an assistant and friend to attorney David Lillehaug. Her last ten years were at the Minneapolis office of Fredrikson & Byron. The daughter and namesake of a Teamster, Ramona was active in the Minnesota DFL Party, including as affirmative action chair of the Fourth Congressional District.
