Uncle Ray was our 'fun uncle'. He always left us with a smile on our faces. I will always be grateful for those times he just showed up at our house when Bruce was in the middle of a project. With his gentle guidance we would get the project finished right(and not end up in divorce court)and he made Bruce feel like he was the one who figured it out. He was humble that way. One of his many qualities. He made our world a better place - him and auntie Flo. I will miss them.

Our deepest condolences to Ray's family & friends. God did some of his best work when he created this wonderful couple and the North Shore of Balsam Lake will never be the same.

We are saddened at the thought of being at the lake without Ray & Flo. We loved them dearly and they were always worried about who needed what and how they could help. The boys will forever miss and never forget playing pull the pig with Ray. They were such a blessing to us and to all who were lucky to have called them friends. Love, De, Gregg, Jason, Joel and Cole

Dear cousins, How I mourn with you. My favorite Uncle has past away, and so soon after my favorite Aunt. In many ways, Uncle Ray was like a second father to me. He helped me purchase my recent home, and made sure everything was in order. He was always there for me. I will forever miss seeing them up at the lake, and laughing at all his funny stories. Things just won't be the same without them. My love and prayers to you all, Tami Wanless

Mike and family: We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved father. We just loved hearing all the great stories about his humor. He was a wonderful person who touched more people than he could possibly know.

Uncle Ray had such a great personality and was the best at shooting the time away with great stories. I'm passing my thoughts and prayers to all of the family.

What a nice guy. I met Ray a few years ago. I needed some help at the school so I called him. He was happy to help with a project at the school. I called him several times after that because he was so generous with his time and knowledge. I will miss him. Gary Allen, St. Jerome maintenance guy.
