

Ray was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eileen; and sons Patrick, John, Dave, Mark, and Matt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Martha; and his brother Gene.
A graduate of St. Agnes High School in 1954, Ray went onto trade school to earn a certificate in Tool & Die. He dedicated over thirty years to his machinist career at 3M, where he was known for his innovative creativity and "big pile of chips" under his lathe. Ray was an adventurous outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He cherished his family cabin. His practical mechanical skills, building skills, and repairs brought joy to countless friends and relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am at Presentation of Mary Catholic Church, located at 1725 Kennard St, Maplewood, MN 55109, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with visitation starting at 9 am, followed by lunch and a committal service at Roselawn Cemetery, 803 Larpenteur Ave W, Roseville, MN 55113.
Ray will be profoundly missed for his unwavering love and his commitment to his family and the stability he provided.
