I am so sad and sorry to hear about the passing of Rich.  He was always very thoughtful and respectful when he spoke with me regarding Brandon.  I know this will be a difficult time for all of you, and I pray that you will find the strength and support you need during this time of grief.  Please let me know if I can help in any way.

I am sorry for your loss, I knew Rich in high school and he was a great friend and he will be missed.

To be honest I've struggled trying to think of how to start this. As someone that is deep into my own sadness mourning the lost of my mother just short weeks ago; what the heck can I possibly say??? To all of the people that loves Rich - this sucks. It sucks that Tammy is missing her best friend and husband. It sucks that Brandon and Jakob are missing their dad. It sucks that Betty & Chuck lost their son. It sucks that all of Rich's siblings and cousins and friends gathered today to honor his life that was unexplanably cut too dang short. It makes no sense. And maybe that's the point. Some times sucky things do happen and the best thing we can do is come together to support one another and try to concentrate on all of the great things that do happen in life. there are no words to make any of this any easier to bear. Rich was such a wonderful young man, he was the best of us,never said cruel things to others,always treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated,cracked a joke when you  were down or made a silly face!  i always knew he would be the one to get it right! our little rich found a wonderful girl that he was crazy about married her made a loving life created two lovely boys!  there was no doubt that he was going to be a fabulous father. god must have needed to be cheered up to bring him back to the heavens. be at peace rich, sing softly for your family to hear while they sleep. let them know that you are still with them.  i tried to get there and i am sorry that i couldn't be there with you but all the love from our family prays to help heal your hearts.  blessed be for all.

Starting your morning off normal,
just like any other day.
When that phone call brings your whole world down,
and going into that mood where you're not going to play.

Going to school and seeing everyones face.
Seeing their happy but knowing your not.
Also knowing that right now isn't the time and not the place.

Putting a smile on your face until you get home,
even though you have tears in your eyes.
Telling everyone you want to be alone,
just so no one heres your cries.

Knowing their gone, and theres nothing you can do.
Even though you're trying your best to move along.
Holding all that pain in until your face turns blue.

So standing here today,
just jotting these words down.
Lets me at least have a chance to say,
good-bye even if its with an unhappy frown.



Love you Rich, you were an amazing cousin that i loved hanging out with at porkys with the rest of the family that always went there. I'll never forget those times and that laughs you and dad shared that I never got the jokes to because I was to little at the time. But i think i already wrote alot here so I'm just going to go. Love you, Karlita Darwin.

Tammy, Brandon, and Jakob, Rich has touched each of us in a way that cannot be expressed in words. We will always have the memories of the laughter and fun that we all have shared. I know that Rich will be waiting for us with an outstretched hand and a warm smile when our time comes to return home. Tammy ,Brandon and Jakob- Rich was such a funny , goodhearted , loving , man, husband, father ,cousin , uncle ,and friend. And all the birthdays, holidays , or just the times we would hang out will never be forgotten. Every time I saw Rich he would say something to make me smile whether it was a dirty joke ,or teasing me about something or another :) We are send you all of our love with our deepest sympathy ,I cannot express how sorry I am that you have lost your husband and father. We love you to the moon and back !!

You, Rich will be missed by all of us. I promise I will take care of Tammy and your boyz that lQQK so much like you. You have been there for my family and now its my turn to take care of yours. I love your smile when you know what you was saying to make us all smile. When I tried to put the frosting on the cake for your birthday and Jakers and I ate more frosting instead of the cake and the smile you had was irreplaceable. I never would have known that you would be gone this soon. The boyz and I was going to come down this weekend but.... well we will miss you and I know that you made it to heaven Rich good guys like you do.... you would always help people with anything that you could especially when I needed help with my exs issues you and Tammy was there for me. There are no words to explain how much you mean to my boyz and myself. Take care and God please pray for all of us left here to grieve for Rich especially the boyz and Tammy.
