She was further survived by her sisters Jan Von Hoff (Barry) and Vicki Barbour and her brother, Richard Huxtable Jr. (Sandy) as well as many other relatives, friends and patients who loved her dearly.
The foundation of Sheryl’s life was her unwavering faith in God, who gave her the rare gift of serving others with compassion. She was a dedicated Wife, Mom and Grandma. Her unconditional love for her family was a certainty and her children considered her a best friend.
Sheryl was a devoted Oncology Nurse who loved and fiercely advocated for all her patients and their families. She was a loyal friend to many and could always be counted on in times of need. Candles were her signature gift to those she loved and cherished. She was generous to a fault with her time, talent, and money.
Sheryl loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed their many cruises together. She loved playing games (and winning), line dancing, paddle boarding and baking with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Grandma Cookie”.
Sheryl is deeply loved and will be painfully missed.
