Ann and family:  I knew Steve when I was a young student with the Capuchins and when he was stationed at my family’s parish in Midland, MI.  He was a wonderful man who had a positive formative influence on so many of us who knew and lived with him during that period of his life.  His legacy lives on in our memories and through that influence.  My life and the lives and many others were positively shaped through knowing him.  My deepest and sincerest condolences.  

My dear Ann I just saw this! I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I know Steve came along later in your life however it was in so many ways the best time of your life. I didn't get to know him but if he loved you he had to be a great guy. My dear friend I  am  here you day or night you just call. I found this because we just said goodbye to my dad John yesterday as well. Bless you my friend I will call you soon. Infinite hugs and love❤❤❤❤. Eck-it

Our deepest prayers and sympathies are with you. I wanted to share one of my earliest memories of Uncle Steve. I was a little tyke. It must have been a weekend of a family picnic and some of us were anxiously waiting in the front yard at Mom and Dad's. A VW bug pulled up on the front curb. Out steps a younger version of Dad. It was Steve and the resemblance was amazing. I thought it was Dad's twin! He was exited to be with us. He showed us a close look at the car. The engine was in the trunk and the cargo was under the hood! You can imagine our amazement. Uncle Steve will be deeply missed. He was as pleasant and loving person as I have ever known. God bless you.

Steve was one of the good guys and will be missed. He always seemed comfortable with whomever he was with and wherever he was. Our hearts break for you, Ann.

My sympathy and prayers  Ann.
I knew Steve when he lived in Milwaukee and was part of the Capuchin pre-novitiate team living in our former St Rose Convent.   I was teaching at St Rose School right next door.  Steve was always friendly, helpful and a great volleyball player.  May he rest for all eternity in the loving arms of God.

My heart breaks with this one.  Uncle Steve was one of the best.  It would take too many words to even try. 

Steve was such a great guy.  We got to know him while playing 500.  Sometimes he would get Ann's attention when he bid high.  You could always tell when he was unsure of making the bid because he would start humming.  However, he would usually end up making his bid.  We will miss him very much.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Ann.

Steve was one of the sweetest, kindest, man  I ever met,  at every family gathering, he made it a point to talk to every one,  ask about you and your 
Family. He will be missed by so many.    God  be with you Ann.
