

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice. He is survived by his children, Lee (Sherry), Kay (Trevor), Chuck (Lynne), and Peggy (Eric), his grandchildren, Abby, Elizabeth (Josh), Alexandra, John (Jon), Erica (Ben), Kayla, Kayce, Elizabeth, and Taylor, and his great-grandchildren, Luella, Bentley, and Mackenzie.
Tom was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church in St. Paul, where he was baptized, married his beloved bride, and remained deeply committed to his faith and church community. His faith and service were central to his life.
He proudly carried forward his family’s Body Shop business, continuing a 100-year legacy built on integrity, hard work, and service. A graduate of Johnson High School, Tom remained active on the reunion committee for many years and valued lifelong friendships. He also served as President of the Lions Club and was a dedicated member for decades.
Tom loved hunting, fishing trips to Canada, and summers at his cherished cabin on Bass Lake. Above all, he treasured time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m., on February 14, 2026, at First Lutheran Church, 464 Maria Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Lutheran Church or Lions Gift of Sight.
A committal service is scheduled at Union Cemetery, 2505 Minnehaha Ave E, Maplewood, MN 55119, at 1:00 pm on February 14, 2026.
