Passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on October 28, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Hank and Marge DeHoop; and mother-in-law, Doris Benson. Survived by loving husband of 37 years, Bob; children, Rob and Andrea (Tony) Schmidt; grandchildren, Katie, Lilly, Tony Jr. and Andrew Schmidt and Sam Sawyer; siblings, Gloria Sullivan and Ed Wasco; father-in-law, William Benson; sisters-in-law, Linda (Dominic) Ramicer, and Barb (Keith) Larson; brother-in-law, Bill Benson; other relatives and dear friends. Former employee of the State of MN for 30 years. Vickie was loved and adored by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Service 11am, Friday, Nov. 2 at First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St.Paul and at church 1 hour prior to service Friday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
