Victoria Ann Sheeley-Richter

Victoria "Vikkie” A. Sheeley-Richter, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on May 4, 1948, Vikkie was the family matriarch, grounded in tradition, joy, and perseverance. She was preceded in death by her father (Raymond Sheeley), mother (Della Strempke), siblings (Della, Larry, Raymond Jr.), and husband (Merle Richter). Vikkie is survived by her loving family: children (Bruce, Jennifer, Michael, Michelle, Scott), stepchildren (Joe, Kurt), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family, celebrations, the Minnesota Vikings, and cross-country road trips were a large part of the life she built with her beloved husband Merle. Wherever she went, her vibrant style, contagious laughter, and proud Irish heritage shone through. Vikkie shone brightest as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cheering on her grandkids in sporting events, activities, and life milestones. She also brought that same effort, dedication, and care to work. Her gentle presence and warm heart will be missed by the lives she touched.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Wulff Funeral Home at 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, MN, with a Visitation one hour prior. You may send memorials to Wulff Funeral Home.
