Robert was born in Bugayong, Binalonan, Pangasinan in the Philippines on October 22, 1945 to the late 2Lt. Teofilo Ramos Tinaza, Sr., 78 (September 22, 1920 - October 2, 1998) and Paciencia Aradanas Tinaza, 88 (June 22, 1925 - December 26, 2012). He was the eldest of 9 children: Leonora "Nora" Tinaza Gombio, Engr. Teofilo "Junior" Aradanas Tinaza, Jr., Delilah "Lalah" Tinaza Serrano, Arturo "Arthur" Aradanas Tinaza, Constante "Tante" Aradanas Tinaza, D.V.M., Filipina "Fe" Tinaza Balbuena, German "Emman" Aradanas Tinaza and Victoria "Veca" Tinaza Bernardo.
Robert married his childhood sweetheart, Glorifina "Glo" Servania Tinaza, on January 2, 1969 at the Binalonan Parish, Pangasinan, Philippines to which two children were born: his eldest, Jomar Servania Tinaza, M.D., who preceded him in death (May 25, 1969 - April 11, 2015), and daughter Charlotte Servania Tinaza.
He graduated at the De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine on November 16, 1969 and practiced his profession for over 25 years before he migrated to the states in 2006 and took his U.S. Citizenship Oath on October 27, 2011 in San Jose, California, U.S.A.
Robert was a music aficionado who devoted most of his time appreciating music from all genres -- without prejudice to the contemporary art of the younger generations, a trait he has shared with his daughter, Charlotte. He was known to be a very good and ardent cook of most-loved Filipino dishes and some Asian cuisines, the 'family clown' who cracks jokes with exuding confidence, a passionate rifle shooting enthusiast and took pride as the family's 'highly skilled driver' in his heyday.
Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Glo and daughter Charlotte, his two grandchildren Earl Michael Tinaza and Marcus Uriel Tinaza, his 8 younger siblings and their spouses, and host of nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, great-grandnephew, cousins, classmates and batchmates, colleagues and friends.
The Funeral Rites will be held at De Young Shoreline Chapel in Stockton, California, U.S.A. on September 3, 2021, Friday, from 1 pm to 8 pm - Stockton time (4 am to 11 am Saturday, September 4, 2021 - Manila, Philippines):
