Jeffrey Lynn Strauch

Jeffrey (Jeff) Lynn Strauch, of Peachtree Corners, GA passed away unexpectedly August 15, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born November 12, 1949 in Royal Center, Indiana. He met his life partner Phillip Cherry in 1976; they later married in April of 2020. He and his spouse built their life together in Georgia. They celebrated 44 years together before Phil’s passing in 2021.

Jeff was preceded in death by his spouse Phillip Cherry; parents Waldemar Strauch and Imogene Rhody Strauch. Jeff is survived by his nephew Kevin Vermillion (Jodie); great-niece Emily Vermillion, Great-nephew Camron Vermillion and First Cousin James (Jim) Rhody (Debbie); extended family; as well his beloved church family and many friends.

Jeff was a devoted long time member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church of Atlanta where he spent significant time volunteering as a very active and cherished member of their parish. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends, enjoying meals and fellowship with them. He enjoyed gospel music, theater and was a devout man of faith. He was a great lover of animals and all living things. Jeff worked for Smart Source as an independent account executive. He graduated from Ball State University in Indiana with a business degree. Jeff was a kind loving person; he was loved and cherished by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed by all that loved him.

Jeff’s wishes are cremation. The family is currently planning a memorial service at All Saints Episcopal Church at 634 W. Peachtree St. NW Atlanta, GA, as per his wishes. The family is still finalizing arrangements with Jeff’s Church and they hope to have an official date set soon for mid September 2026. The family will send out to those interested, an announcement and invitation with specific service arrangements once they are finalized.
