Lawanda was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Robert & Savoy Lynch on March 20th, 1960. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Christian Faith Baptist Church. Her early education was in the Detroit public school systems. After completing high school, she moved to Chattanooga where she earned her nursing degree. She was a dedicated woman with a strong work ethic who worked as a Registered Nurse and Case Manager for various locations (Texas, Atlanta, Chattanooga) for 40+ years. She dedicated her life to serving others and had a love and talent for interior design. She loved shopping, traveling, enjoying coffee, and spending quality time with family and friends. Lawanda was a loving and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
Lawanda met her knight and shining armor, the love of her life Ronald Cartledge Sr. in Atlanta GA and they were married on February 11th, 2004.
Lawanda was preceded in death by both parents, sister Carolyn Wilson, brother Robert Lynch and her fur babies that she had for 17 years, Basil and Preston.
Lawanda is survived by husband: Ronald Cartledge Sr. Children: Ronald Cartledge Jr, Deonna Wiggins, and Derrick Lattimore (Shanayvia). Grandchildren: Carter, Brooklyn, Jordan, Elijah, Arriyas, Arriyon and Azi. Sister: Lisa Hayes. Sister-In Love: Tanya Anglen (Shaun). Special Niece & Nephew: Laron Austin (Mallory) and Christina Hayes. Godson: Alex Bolden. Aunt: Cynthia Gunn. Lifetime Best friend: Sheila Kennedy (Sonny) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
