Cadence Maylee Poulette

We the family of Cadence Maylee Poulette, announce with sorrow, that our angel earned her wings on Nov 13, 2022. She was a bright and fun loving child who enjoyed watching Disney movies, especially Moana, Paw Patrol and dancing to her favorite Kiss songs. The world was a brighter place having her in it, if only for a brief time.

Cadence is survived by her mother Danielle May Poulette, siblings; Cynthia Michael, and Colton Poulette, paternal grandparents Darlene Marshall and Harry Lafford Sr., maternal grandmother Bernadina May Poulette, uncles; Edwin Lafford, Gub Sylliboy, Kirk Gould, Joshua Gould, Noah Gould, William “Sullian” Bernard and uncle/god father MacKenzie Poulette, aunt Trina Augustine, aunt/ god mothers Abigale Googoo of Waycobah and Danielle Marshall and godmother Cassandra Poulette. Cadence also leaves to mourn her great great-aunt Elizabeth Knockwood, her best friend Jasmine Cremo, her classmates and many great uncles, great aunts, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Cadence is predeceased by her father Harry Lafford Jr., grandfather Kevin Daniel Poulette, uncle Daniel Marshall and great grandparents; Walter and Mary Tina Young, Dianne Toney and Raymond Poulette.

A visitation will take place starting Tuesday, Nov 22nd, at 7pm, at the Gabriel Center in Eskasoni. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov 24th, at 10:30am at Holy Family Church in Eskasoni, with a burial to follow in the parish cemetery. A salite will follow.
