Sylvania – B. H. Anderson, III, age 66, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Emory University Hospital after an extended illness. He was born June 6, 1952 in Statesboro, GA to Grace Freeman and B.H. Anderson, Jr. He has resided in Screven County all of his life and was a member of Wades Baptist Church in the Cooperville Community. He served on the Screven County Board of Commissioners from 1978 until 1980. He spent his life farming and raising livestock. He loved animals and had many special pets throughout his life.
B.H. is survived by his wife, Pam Anderson, of 39 years, his daughter, Suzanne Anderson of Screven County and son and daughter in law, Ben and Ashley Anderson, of Savannah, GA; three sisters: Barbara (Russell) Williams of Evans, GA, Linda (Herbert) Jacobs of Rocky Ford, GA, and Nancy (Jim) Boone of Perry, GA; sister in law, Paula (John) McCormick of Screven County and brother in law, Frank (Cheri) Shurling of Macon, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Wades Baptist Church on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 3:00 PM in the Wades Baptist Church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the Wades Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: nephews – Don Jacobs, Herbert Jacobs, Russ Williams, Matt Boone, Hunter Jacobs and special friend, Stuart Boykin.
