Sylvania –Gary Alan “Peanut” Youngblood, age 67, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his residence in Sylvania. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late William J. & Lillian Hunter Youngblood. He worked as an auto mechanic and was a U.S. Marine Veteran, having served during the Viet Nam War. He also was a member of Middle Ground Baptist Church, the American Legion and had received the Disabled American Veterans Community of Heroes Award. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers: Billy Youngblood and Duane A. Youngblood; Sister: Judy Ann Fix; Former Wife: Margie Kearney Youngblood.
Survivors: Son and Daughter-In-Law: Gary A., Jr. and Kerri Youngblood of Savannah, GA; Grandson: Alexander Hunter Youngblood of Savannah, GA; Aunts and Uncle: Peggy & H. Chris Bazemore and Miriam Morgan, all of Sylvania, Martha Morel of Guyton, GA and Virginia Spears of Hohenwald, TN; Special Friends: Dan Frawley of Clyo, GA and Larry Kersey of Savannah, GA; Several Cousins.
Visitation: Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:30 until 11:00 AM at Middle Ground Baptist Church Cemetery.
Graveside Service: Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Middle Ground Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial following at cemetery.
