Sylvania - Stephanie Rountree Farmer, age 45, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born in Bulloch County, GA to Shirley Overstreet Rountree and the late William E. "Billy" Rountree. She was an instructor at the Office of Training with the Department of Juvenile Justice for the State of Georgia and was a member of Jackson Baptist Church. She formerly served as a deputy sheriff and resource officer with the Screven County Sheriff's Department and her interests included being with her children and grandchildren.

Farmer, III of Sylvania; Daughter: Ashley Mock (Brett) Lamb of Statesboro, GA; Sons: Corey (Haley) Mock and Lige Farmer, all of Sylvania; Mother and Step-Father: Shirley O. Rountree and Tommy Morgan, of Sylvania; Sisters: Jessica Rountree (Jonathan) Lamb of Statesboro, GA and Page Rountree of Sylvania; Step-Brothers: Jason (Crystal) Walker of Wrightsville, GA and Jeremy (Sabrina) Walker of Statesboro, GA; Grandchildren: River Lamb, Rayce Lamb and Browning Mock; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Monday, October 22, 2018 at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan McCoy officiating. A private burial will follow.
Pallbearers: Jonathan Lamb, Brett Lamb, Ronnie Bazemore, Justin Wells, Chip Bazemore and Dessie Carter. Honorary Pallbearers: Seth Woodall, Jason Walker, Jeremy Walker and Bill Martin.
