Adeline Iva Comellas

Adeline Iva Comellas departed this world to be with the Lord on December 6, 2021. Iva was a life-long resident of Tampa, born in Manhattan, New York. She loved her family with all her heart. Iva was a devoted Christian, as a member of Altar Church. Her greatest joy was to care and attend to those most in need by providing her gift of caregiver. Iva loved to bowl, play card games, walk with her friends, travel, solve word puzzles, and spend time with her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jeraldo Comellas, Sr. and survived by her sons, Jeraldo Jr. (Joyce) and Nelson; grandchildren, Anthony, Anissa, and Megan Kitzman (Kris); great-grandson (Jameson); her brother Joe Marsicano (Judy), sisters Theresa Valenti, Virginia Hernandez, and Rose Daniel (David); and all her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 9am-11:30am and funeral services from 11:30am-12:30pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Internment will immediately follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3:30pm at 10132 Vista Pointe Drive, Tampa, FL 33635.
