On May 2, 2016 our angel on earth was sent to heaven. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 26, 1948. She is the daughter of the late John H. Johnson and Roberta Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Robert Jr.; children, Sheren (Eric), Robert III (Michelle), John (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Eric Jr., Robert IV, Tatiana, and Milla; siblings, Lazarus Johnson, Roberta Washington, Johnny Johnson (deceased) of Jacksonville, FL and Gwendolyn Nathan of San Diego, CA.
Alberta earned her Bachelor’s degree in education at Edward Waters College. She was a Hillsborough County Public School Teacher for over 30 years and retired at Leto High School.
Alberta was a loving, affectionate, devoted and caring wife and mother of three children. She enjoyed reading, traveling, enjoyed attending sporting events, gardening, a movie enthusiast, making her world famous potato salad and most importantly, spending time with her family.
She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
