Dear Mark, Your mother was so very special to me over the years. Ms Johnnie always told me special stories about her boys and their family on every visit. I have not seen Alex since our days playing softball for BBC in the 70's but I knew how you'al were doing through her. She loved both of her boys very much. Now I wonder what stories they are discussing in heaven. God Bless your family.

Some of my best memories were the Crofton family reunions growing up. Being the same age as Alex we automatically became best buddies for the weekend, we had a blast @ the old Assembly Grounds. We both loved sports and fishing, and generally being mischievous I do believe. Walking up to the coke machine @ midnight to get a Mt Dew probably not a good idea, but I am truly thankful for all the great memories I share of Alex. I am proud of the man he became and the beautiful family he has as his legacy. God bless this family and may God bless this sweet man. RIP Cuz

Sydney,

Your father was a wonderful man and loved by so many. He left behind a beautiful daughter and a woman any father could be so very proud of. Remember all the great times with your Dad and let that carrier you through as you go forward in life.. All our love, Jodi & Dwight and Kyle

So sorry to hear of Alex passing. Johnnie Boghich was my son, Bryan Pennington’s , all time favorite teacher, at Mitchell Elementary School. She would often talk about Alex, and say how proud she was of him. Peace be with the family during this difficult time.
