I am sorry sad to hear this has happened. My heart breaks for your family. You were such a good friend to my Dad and he was always so happy to be a "Grandpa Mr. Vic" to Christopher and Kayla. Any time we went anywhere for his Birthday or Father's day, he spent the day sharing photos and stories. He always wanted to bring back gifts for the kids. He really cherished the times with your family. I like to think you both have your friend in heaven now.♡

I really hated to hear of your sudden passing. You were so kind to us. You were always so cute with your hairstyles and makeup and always had a kind word for my friends and me. Your absence will be felt for sure, and we will fight for your justice. Take your rest.

I can remember the first night that I met you you were riding the golf cart and back of our building and I was walking my dog and you said how cute my dog was.

My last memory is of you coming up my stairs I saw your little cart at the steps and then I talked to you in my hallway about a week and a half before

You're always nice to people here and your hair was always so beautiful

I sent him my condolences to your family I am so sorry that this happened to you

Justice will be served

No human being deserves this

You're with Jesus now and I just want to say that I'm so sorry that this happened in Jesus name amen

May God be with you forever and ever and ever

One of my fondest memories of Alisha was riding bikes, playing double dutch and roller blading. I remember school days when Alisha, Robin and I use to walk to school together eating breakfast lol. Those were the good old days. I hadn't seen Alisha in years as she relocated from New York to Florida but I will never forget the childhood memories forever in my mind and heart. I am so sorry that your life was tragically taken from you, S.I.P. my friend. My prayers are with your children and the family at this difficult time.

I never met you just had something in common with you. We both worked at Beachwalk as security officers and we both are mothers. I am so sorry that you weren't even safe going to work trying to support your family. I am so sorry that this happened to you. My heart hurts for you, your children and family. May you rest in heaven and may god wrap his arms around your loved ones in their time of grief. I am so sorry.

To Alisha Joanna Windfield, the entire world was a stage. An expressive, optimistic, and uninhibited individual, she was a performer in the theater of life. To everyone around her, she seemed to be eternally happy, and she willingly shared that joy with anyone whose life she touched. For Alisha, bringing out the best in any situation was as easy as offering a smile, a witty remark or the twinkle of an eye. And with just those simple gestures, she could evoke the most pleasant of emotions. Alisha really mastered the art of living and had great fun in doing so.

Alisha was born on December 20, 1985 at Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica NY. Her parents were Joseph and Nadine Windfield. Alisha was raised in Jamaica NY and later moved to Miami Florida. Even as a child, Alisha had the ability to lift the spirits of all those around her. She was raised to be warm, caring and friendly. She couldn’t help but capture everyone’s attention. She was definitely a little bit of a show off, but in doing so, she succeeded in entertaining her entire family.

Always a good playmate, Alisha was easygoing and fun loving. She managed to lighten the mood wherever she was, even during family squabbles. She seemed to have a knack for bringing compromise and erasing tense situations around the house. Due to a generous dose of common sense, Alisha managed to find a satisfying solution to basic problems. Alisha was raised with three sisters. She had two older sisters Kimberly and Renee and one younger sister Robin.

All of Alisha's playful good humor carried over into her childhood. She was possessed with an outgoing personality, a lively imagination and a mellowed enthusiasm for life that allowed her to be constantly on the go. As a result, Alisha experienced a rather active childhood, and this suited her very well. Alisha's memorable achievements included being an amazing Aunty at the age of 11 and relocating at the age of 17 to Miami Florida. Where she attended Job Corp.

Alisha never actually encountered a stranger in her dealings with people. She was drawn to individuals and crowds, using her gregarious, adaptable and outgoing personality to captivate her audience. This quality allowed Alisha to continually develop new relationships, ever widening her circle of friends. Alisha delighted in her role among all her acquaintances, because she viewed them all as potential spectators for her performance. Whether it was a story, a joke, a song or just plain fooling around, Alisha was always right at home putting on a show among her friends. Alisha utilized her interest in others as a great way to connect with them. While growing up, some of her best friends were LeAnna, Zakiya and Tahjma. In 2008 she meet Ryan Capel in Richmond Virginia and later had three beautiful children. Alisha loved sharing life and having her home filled with people she knew.

The gift of being emotionally expressive and outwardly affectionate made Alisha very easy to approach. On July 10, 2011 Alisha and Ryan Capel welcomed there first son Christopher Joseph into the world, and the young energized young women we knew had developed into this amazing mother. Not quit a year later they welcomed there first baby girl into the world Kayla Rose and a few years later there was Arian Victoria . Alisha was an amazing mother who loved her children endlessly and was truly there best friend.

Perhaps the reason Alisha related so well to children was the fact that she never really completely grew up herself. The ability to be just a “kid at heart” helped her in raising her own children. Alisha was blessed with three children, Christopher(9), Kayla(8) and Ariana(4). Alisha had the ability to focus her attention on the present moment. If she was spending time with the kids, that’s where all of her attention was directed. Alisha's compassionate side prevented her from being a strict disciplinarian, and she could turn just about any situation into a playful, learning experience. She could spend hours entertaining them with fun and creative play. In fact, Alisha had a knack for turning some of those nasty old chores into games.

At work, as in life, Alisha was a real “people person.” She had a very successful way of dealing effectively with others, and her enthusiasm and energy was often contagious. Alisha liked to see herself as something of a virtuoso. When dealing with various projects and problems, Alisha was an adaptable realist, using her common sense and trusting her experiences and impulses to uncover the correct answer. Alisha's talent for being a down to earth thinker, allowed many around her to see Alisha as an excellent problem solver. Her primary occupation was Security Officer.

Alisha enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. An “arts and crafts” type, Alisha liked creating and making things. Her favorite pursuits were gardening and cooking. Alisha was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.

Alisha was a lover of animals and cherished her pets, enjoying them almost as much as she enjoyed being around other people. One of Alisha's favorites was Pinky, her first miniature dog and Hazel was her first big dog. They were best friends for Pinky she had for a few years and she just got Hazel a few months ago as a family pet.

Alisha passed away on June 09, 2021 at Tampa Florida. She is survived by husband Ryan and there children Christopher, Kayla and Ariana; her father Joseph jr; her sisters Kimberly, Renee and Robin. Services were held at Gonzalez Funeral Home.

Alisha brought joy to all of those around her. She never had a mean bone in her body. She loved to have a good time and was an eternal optimist, always looking on the bright side of things. She loved to share her energy, wit, and her zest for all of her activities with her friends and family. Alisha Joanna Windfield lived life to its fullest and made everyone around her happier just for knowing her. She will be remembered with a smile.
