Allan Roy Stocker, 82 of Tampa, Florida passed on September 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Richard Roy Stocker. Al is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of 61 years; daughters, Mindy (David) Feder, Martha Stocker (Robert Torrisi); son, Richard (Beth) Stocker; his sister, Carolyn (Terry) Fox; brother, Dean Stocker; loving grandchildren, Amy Feder (Alex Rubin), Patrick (Emily) Feder, Katelyn Stocker, Jonathan Stocker and Peter Stocker; nieces, Kim (Daniel) Kaminsky and Drue Chatfield (Paul Brousseau); nephew, Andy (Amy) Fox and their son Wally. Al was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Al was born in Chicago, IL. and raised his family in Batavia, IL. He retired from Northern Illinois Gas Company (Nicor) in 1992 and spent his retirement years residing in North Port, FL, and his beloved home in Wisconsin’s north woods. Al enjoyed singing with the barbershop quartet. The proceeds from the quartet provided music scholarships to the local high school. He performed at many nursing homes and retirement communities and he sang in many church choirs throughout his life in addition to serving on church boards. He restored antique wood boats which he worked on with his son and grandson Patrick at his Wisconsin lake home, as well as attending boat shows. Al will be remembered by his family at a future date, where his ashes will be laid rest.
