SCADUTO, Amy Julia, 31, of Tampa passed on to peace in heaven on December 3, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Lily May Danhour; her parents, Julia and John Scaduto; brother, John Scaduto and wife Meagan; nieces, Lena Mason and Cora Neal; and many extended family and close friends. Born in Bradenton on June 5, 1987, Amy graduated from Oldsmar Christian Academy (2005), attended St. Petersburg College, and worked as administrative assistant for Edwards Yacht Sales in Clearwater. A celebration of her life will occur later in 2019.
A loving daughter, Amy is best remembered for her energetic spirit and the joy and passion she brought to her life and those around her. A triathlete, a fitness enthusiast and a lover of all animals, Amy was most at home when outdoors, whether on the beach or on a boat, or on a bike or riding horseback. Her sharp wit and sense of humor came with a deep and infectious laugh that could fill rooms as well as the hearts of those around her.
As a mother to her precious daughter, Amy’s devotion to her sweet ‘Lily May’ knew no bounds. Lily was an undying light to Amy on this Earth, and Amy dedicated herself to protecting and nurturing her darling Lily, whether on small outings to the beach or bigger excursions to Disney World. And while now in heaven, Amy is sure to remain a guardian angel to Lily forever.
The celebration of Amy’s life, along with the scattering of ashes, is planned for Key West, FL in June 2019 to coincide with the 32nd anniversary of Amy’s birth. Close family and friends are invited to attend in Amy’s memory.
