Major Andreas Brian O'Keeffe died 15 March 2018 when his helicopter crashed in Iraq. A 2006 graduate of Georgetown Law, Andreas was 37 years old. Andreas is survived by his parents, Mary Ann and Shan; his sister, Bernadette; his brother, Shan; his nieces and nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend, Allison Denniston. A mass to celebrate Andreas' life is planned for 11 am on 6 April at Incarnation Catholic Church of Tampa, FL. The church will be open at 1010 to 1050 for any who loved Andreas to say a private goodbye at his casket if they wish. There will be a reception to follow at Mary Ann and Shán's home for friends and family. If inclined to send flowers, the church will accept them on the morning of 6 April. Flowers arriving day prior can be sent to Blount & Curry Funeral Home (Oldsmar location). In lieu of flowers those wishing might consider a donation to USO, or the Friends of the Fallen, or the That Others May Live Foundation. There will be a military memorial service to honor Maj O'Keeffe on 3 Aug on or near Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, Long Island, NY.
