Katko, Andrew W. of Tampa, 45, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Moffitt Cancer Center, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. He was born September 10, 1070 in Charlotte, NC, where he grew up and later graduated from Wingate University. He went on to have a long and successful career in the financial and investment industry, working for Bank of America (which brought him to Tampa), The Hartford, and lastly for Pioneer Investments as their Senior VP and Florida Regional Wholesaler. In 2003, Andrew married his beloved wife Jenn, and together they welcomed their daughter in 2005. Andrew was many things; a loving husband, a loyal friend, and a savvy businessman, but his greatest joy in life was being Caroline’s father. He loved spending time outdoors, Sunday pancakes with Caroline, and keeping his friends and family laughing with his dry sense of humor. Andrew is survived by his “girls”, wife Jenn and daughter Caroline; and family in the Carolina’s. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Ducks Unlimited in Andrew’s name
