RIVERA, Angelo Luis, 88 of Tampa passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. Angelo was born on April 25, 1937, in Puerto Rico to Encarnacion Vega and Vidal Rivera. Proceeded in death by his parents, siblings, and bride of 62 years Carmen. Loving family include his sons Angelo Rivera (Pamela), and Michael Rivera (Laura), grandchildren; Angelo Rivera (Lindsey), Andra Hedden (Terry), Max Rivera, Madison Rivera and their mother Maureen Rivera, great-grandchildren; Trey, Jackson and Maverick Hedden, Arlo and Lilia Rivera, many extended family members, and dear friends. Angelo cherished time with family above all else, good times with friends, enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, playing dominoes and cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays. After many years in New York Angelo and Carmen retired to the Tampa Bay area. In lieu of funeral services family will celebrate the beloved lives of Angelo and Carmen in Puerto Rico.
