Fr. Angelus Migliore

Fr. Angelus Migliore, T.O.R., born on July 16, 1937, age 78, Pastor Emeritus of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tampa, passed away Monday March 28, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. Fr. Angelus was ordained on May 23, 1964, in Altoona-Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for the Third Order Regular of St. Francis, Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. He spent eight years in Brazil as a missionary. In 1974, Fr. Angelus began a twenty year ministry at the Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. He served at Franciscan University in many capacities. He came to the Diocese of St. Petersburg in 1994 and was assigned to St. Patrick Parish in Tampa as Associate Pastor. In 2003 he became Pastor of St. Patrick Parish and faithfully served at the parish and within the Diocese. In 2012 he became Pastor Emeritus. Local Funeral Rites will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tampa on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Reception of the body & Viewing from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Funeral Mass at 3:00 pm, and Reception will follow in the Parish Social Hall. A Memorial Mass and Interment will take place at a later date in Loretto, Pennsylvania, the mother house of the of the Franciscans of the Third Order Regular. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4518 S Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL, 813-839-5337.
