Annie Maida

Annie was born in Tampa to Benedita and Andrew Messina on September 22, 1933. She married Nelson Maida on April 26, 1953, at O.L.P.H Catholic Church in Tampa.

Annie enjoyed cooking pasta and meatballs for her family every Sunday. She loved to bake her famous ricotta cookies for every occasion. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Annie is survived by her husband Nelson Maida. Her children and their spouses, Andrew and Elsa, Michael and Margie, and Tommy and Lisa. Her grandchildren Carissa, Vinnie, Jena, Corey, Alexandria, Maxwell, Dylan, Michael, Mindi and her great-granddaughter Alianna.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Maida, Michael Maida, Tommy Maida, Vinnie Maida, Corey Maida, Dylan Maida, and Maxwell Maida

A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, 10:30 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill.
