PIENKOWSKI, Anthony Daniel – 90, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Jan. 16, 2016, a native of Scranton, PA. Tony has lived the past 11 years in Tampa, FL ever since the death of his loving wife, Lula Movaline (Medley) Pienkowski of Cookeville, TN. Tony was a Merchant Marine, Steelworker, served as a paratrooper during WWII and was a member of the Cookeville Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his brother Joseph of Clark Summit, Pa and preceded by his parents Sophia (Znosko) and Benjamin Pienkowski and his sisters Bertha Ratuszny, Helen Harris, Irene Dombroski, and Stella and his brothers Alexander, Richard and Stanley. His passion was his wife Lula, hunting, and fishing. Tony will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. Services will be held at the Whitson Funeral Home, 30 N.
